Haulage in Hull, Yorkshire & Humber Area

Waller Transport is now an established name within the East Yorkshire logistics community, operating from offices at Chamberlain Business Centre within the coastal city of Hull.

Our Hull haulage logistics depot is less than two miles from the Port of Hull, which is operated by Associated British Ports and sits along the north bank of the Humber Estuary. The most significant port in the UK for softwood timber exports, Hull houses the UK’s first all weather terminal and plays an integral role in the ever-growing renewable energy sector in the east of England. Subsequently, we have developed a team of logistics experts that are extremely well connected and one of the first choices in the East of England for the onward haulage of timber products from the Humber ports to elsewhere in the UK.

The Waller Transport team in Hull are experienced in coordinating freight across the UK and ready to help with any logistics challenges you may be experiencing. The M62 and River Humber provide excellent transport links to the rest of the country, with the other three ports within the Humber network, including Immingham, all contributing to the high volume of cargo arriving on UK shores in the region.

Haulage from Immingham Port

While Hull is often seen as the primary port within the Humber network due to the size of the city, the Port of Immingham is actually – in terms of tonnage – the largest in the UK. Handling around 55 tonnes a year, the port is central to the infrastructure of the relatively small Lincolnshire town and our strong relationships allow us to efficiently co-ordinate loads in and out of the port for our haulage customers.

Haulage from Grimsby & Goole

Lincolnshire’s remaining two premier ports are also areas in which we serve, with timber and container haulage being among our specialisms. Goole, being the UK’s most inland port, has great access to the Midlands while Grimsby is a significant car import and offshore energy terminal. We’re well placed to offer haulage services to customers utilising each of these Humber ports.
