Never one to shy away from a challenge, our Managing Director Darryn Flynn is tackling Mount Snowdon, Ben Nevis and Scafell Pike – all in the space of 24 hours!

The worthy cause

His motivation for approaching this endurance test is to raise money for the Jude Brady Foundation, a charity very close to the hearts of those in our hometown of Ipswich. The Jude Brady Foundation was set up to raise awareness of stillbirth & neonatal death, in memory of baby Jude, who on 16th June 2006 tragically became one of the 17 babies that – on average – die every day. The work of his parents Peter and Lynn has done an incredible amount of good in raising funds for child-related causes, but now Darryn wants to do his bit so he needs your support.

The challenge

Given that there is approximately 11 hours of driving involved in journeying between the three peaks – which comprise the tallest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales – the 24 hour target is no mean feat. There won’t be much time for rest and we hope there aren’t too many lorries slowing down the traffic between the peaks!

How to show your support

If you would like to show your support for Darryn and this thoroughly deserving cause, you can find his Just Giving page here. Any donation, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.

We’re sure you’ll all join us in wishing Darryn and his team of hikers the best of luck for 13th May – you can do it, Darryn!
