Our ability to manage logistics ‘at scale’ is demonstrated by the service we have provided over a number of years to Amazon, as well as suppliers of Asda, John Lewis, Aldi, Wilko and Marks & Spencer. These customers continue to use Waller for their retail haulage and logistics needs, primarily because we are able to consistently service part loads and full loads on a time-critical basis. As a result, we service over 100 loads per week for retailers.

Beyond the retail space, Waller has a strong history of assisting small and large-scale clients in the timber, steel and waste industries – and we can also source the appropriate vehicles to all types of raw material, as well as any out-of-gauge cargo.

We also possess strong expertise in event and exhibition solutions, working as the haulage partner of choice for a number of organisers – not only in Europe but further afield. We are often called upon to coordinate the delivery of event stands and other equipment to shows in the United States, which involves working closely with our sea and air freight partners.

Case Study: Fortnite Championship

In early 2019, Waller served as delivery partner for the EStars Fortnite Championship, which was hosted at numerous football stadiums across the UK. With multiple display units and other show equipment needing to be transported between the stadiums – which spanned England, Scotland and Ireland – the project required detailed coordination and planning.

To ensure everything was delivered to the venues on time, we arranged to have the cargo transported to secure storage units two to three days before each event. All of the storage units were located within 15 minutes of the stadiums, meaning the loads could be delivered on the day of the event – or evening prior – with no hold-ups. Special exhibition trailers were used throughout, demonstrating Waller’s ability to source the right equipment for any load.

Delivering more than 11,000 loads per year across 30+ countries, Waller Transport has grown into a truly international operation.

The sheer strength of our network means we don’t require a substantial operations team across our four UK offices.
